Mr & Mrs Sprague tied the knot here at Batch Country House on Saturday 28th July.
Michelle made her grand entrance here at Batch in style with the lovely “Cadbury Cars”. The ceremony took place in our Somerset Suite. The Lovely Gemma Watkins from ‘The Wedding pianist’ Played Michelle along with all the bridal party down the aisle, it certainly did set the most beautiful atmosphere for the ceremony.
A three course wedding breakfast was later served in our Ivory Suite, Gemma Watkins done a fantastic job playing some beautiful background music. Guests had the choice of many different delicious dishes such as, Sliced smoked Duck on a mixed leaf salad with Apple Chutney and Fruit Coulis or a Medley of melon and mango served with a sweet fruit liqueur to start. Followed by Braised Lamb Shank in red wine and rosemary on a bed of mash potato and herbs or A Supreme of chicken filled with apple stuffing wrapped in bacon in a wild mushroom and herb sauce. Finished with Homemade raspberry Roulade or Triple Chocolate Gateaux with Hot Chocolate Sauce. With Tummies well and truly full the traditional speeches took place.
On to the evening where guest enjoyed the use of our photobooth which always provides many laughs, as well as the use of our ‘LOVE’ Letters to brighten up the dance floor and act as a great photo prop. Guests were then treated to a Yummy Hog Roast before dancing the night away.
Massive Congratulations to such a lovely couple, from everyone here at Batch Country House.
