Mr & Mrs Watkins married here at Batch Country House On Saturday 3rd November.
The day was fantastic from start to finish. Hazel and Andrew had decorated every part of Batch in stunning fresh flower, photos, fairy lights, lanterns and so much more, it really did pay off and gave the whole place a really homely feel.
As guests arrived they gathered in our Garden room for drinks, Two o’clock approached and the ushers asked everyone to make their way to the Somerset Suite ready for the arrival of the bride. Andrew looking very smart took his position at the top of the aisle eagerly awaiting Hazels entrance. As the doors to the ceremony room opened the bridal party made their way down the aisle looking truly amazing. Followed by Hazel who looked incredible as she walked down the aisle with her son by her side.
After the ceremony guest were greeted with a reception drink before making the way outside with photographer Andrew Miller.
On to The Ivory Suite the room looked amazing, guest were certainly ‘wowed’ as they walked through the door. Hazel along with the help of her mum had gone to so much effort in making the decorations, it really did look beautiful. A three course meal was then served to all sixty five guests before glasses were charged ready for the traditional speeches.
As Evening approached the newlyweds were greeted by more loved ones to help join in celebrations. Guest partied the night away with band ‘Captain Atlantic’ while tummies were kept full with one of our delicious’s Hog Roasts.
A Great day was had by all. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Watkins from everyone here at Batch Country House.
