The Lovely Sarah and Freddie became Husband and Wife at Berrow Church on Saturday 24th November, before caring on celebrations here at Batch Country House.
On Arrival the new Mr & Mrs Harwood along with all One Hundred and Forty Five guest were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and some delicious canapés. A pianist then played thoughout the drinks reception setting the most beautiful atmosphere. Whilst the bar bill was taken care of guest were asked to make a £1 donation per drink to The Bristol Children Hospital, what a fantastic way of raising money for a great cause. On the day Bradley Wakefield photography did a great job as always. Sarah looked stunning wearing the most gorgeous dress as did the whole bridal party. Freddie along with his groomsmen also looked very smart.
As four o’clock approached guest formed a receiving line into the Ivory Suite where the newlyweds stood ready to greet everyone. The Ivory Suite looked beautiful dressed with chair covers and dusky pink bows along with some stunning floral centre pieces from Rosemary Florist. The table plan along with the name cards and table numbers were all done beautifully. Each table number had a picture of Sarah and Freddie printed on it of them at that age, a fantastic way to personalise the day a little more. Once everyone was seated our kitchen team were ready with the starters, Breaded Camembert cheese with a redcurrant sauce crispy croutons and salad or Homemade Cream of Vegetable Soup, Followed by Fanned Breast of Duckling with an Orange and Brandy Sauce or Supreme of Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach and Feta Cheese with a Pine Nut sauce. Finished of beautifully with yummy Profiteroles in a warm chocolate sauce or a delicious Eaton Mess. Coffee was then served before glasses were charged ready for the traditional speeches.
As evening arrived celebrations continued. Guest danced the night away with a fantastic band and DJ while we kept tummies full with a Hog Roast. A great day was had by all.
