What a lovely day for the new Mr and Mrs Gainey who got married at Batch on Friday 15th March. The couple choose to get married in our Somerset suite with ninety four close family and friends. The Bride arrived just before the ceremony with her Father in an old vintage car from Spirit Wedding cars. The Bridesmaids looked gorgeous as they made their way down the aisle behind the flower girl and page boy followed by the Bride. The Bride looked beautiful as she made her way to the top with her Father on her arm who gave her away.

Following the ceremony the couple along with all of their guests were greeted with a  glass of Prosecco or Cider to enjoy while photographs were taking place. The Photographer from Art Photography was able to take some fantastic photos of the Newly Weds and the whole Bridal party making use of our landscaped gardens and use of the rooms inside the venue.  Magician Jai was on hand to entertain and mesmerise the guests with some  Magic tricks during the afternoon.

Our ivory suite looked lovely with our white chair covers, purple slip cloths and alternate purple and silver sparkly bows at each table. The centrepieces were our fresh lilies and the tables had their own added personal touch. A delicious three course meal was prepared by our chefs and served by our waiting staff followed by coffee, mints and a glass of Prosecco for the speeches and toasts.  Their wedding cake was beautifully made by the Grooms Mother and she really did do a fantastic job.

Onto the evening and with more guests arriving DJ Gerry Rushton got the party started. The guests were able to enjoy our mouth watering chocolate fountain and sweet cart supplied by Donna’s Sweet cart Hire. Guests also brought  their home made cake for the Bride and Grooms ‘Bake off’ competition in the evening which was lots of fun. Fish and chip cones were served to all of the evening guests to keep those tummies full following a fantastic day.

Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Gainey from all at Batch.
