On Saturday 6th April the lovely Amy & Jack became Husband and Wife at a local church to them before carrying on celebrations here at Batch Country House.
The new Mr & Mrs Stevens arrived at Batch in style in a beautiful vintage car, although this was not the only grand vehicle of the day Jack had also bough along a rather large Forager which took pride of place red roped at the front of the house along with a amazing pickup truck .Together all three vehicles were the perfect photo prop for some great photos.
On arrival guest were greeted with a glass of bubbly where they then made full use of our gardens in the glorious sunshine. Shutter Bliss were photographers for the day and did a amazing job as always. Amy & Jack and the whole party looked incredible.
The Ivory Suite looked absolutely amazing, dressed with chair covers and dusky pick bows. Large Log slices along with small jugs full of beautiful flowers acted as table centre pieces along with some beautiful milk churns either side of top table with a stunning spray of flowers both from the lovely Rosemary Florist. Large wooden cut outs of cows acted as table names with each cut out representing a different type of cow. Floral bunting was spread all over the Ivory Suite which tied in perfectly with the theme for the day. The room looked beautiful, as Four O’clock approached a three course meal was served to all ninety guest.
With the arrival of more guests the evening party really got in to full swing. The dance floor was kept full from start to finish with band ‘The Hurricane’, while our staff served up a yummy buffet.
Massive congratulations to such a great couple from everyone here at Batch Country House.
