Mr and Mrs Stevenson -Gay married at St Lukes Church on Saturday 25th May before making their way to Batch Country House arriving in an amazing VW camper van. The Bride and Groom and their guests were greeted outside with a glass of Prosecco or a bottle of Budweiser and nibbles before TG Photography took them off around our award winning gardens for some photos.
The Ivory suite looked fantastic with so many personal touched added by the Bride and Groom. The chairs were white with alternate yellow and gray bows and their own amazing centrepieces and a balloon arch over the top table. There was a clear camper van theme throughout with individual VW name place holders and a camper van cake and also a guess the honeymoon destination game to keep the guests entertained throughout the meal.
A mouth-watering three course meal was prepared by our chefs and served by our waiting staff along with two glasses of wine followed by coffee and mints and a glass of bubbly for the speeches and toasts.
Onto the evening and more guests arrived to celebrate with the newlyweds. Our selfie mirror went down a treat with guests, as did the Hog Roast for the evening food to keep everyone full. A sketch artist arrived which everyone loved as well as having a bouncy castle supplied by AW Inflatables. DJ Soundwave did a great job keeping the dance floor full. Everyone had such a lovely day and evening.
A truly wonderful day. A huge congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Stevenson-Gay from everyone at Batch Country House.
