On Saturday 18th May the lovely Nicola and Daniel tied the knot here at Batch Country House. What a beautiful day it was.
Nicola and her bridal party made their grand entrance here at Batch in two vintage camper vans they looked fantastic. As two o’clock approached all one hundred and twenty five guest were seated in our Somerset Suite for the ceremony. As the doors opened and Nicola made her way down the aisle looking truly amazing I dont think there was dry eye in the room.
After the ceremony guest were greeted with a reception drink before heading out to the gardens to make the most of the glorious sunshine. The outside area looked great with ‘LOVE LETTERS’ from enhanced entertainment making a fantastic photo prop with the vintage camper vans parked just behind it really did look picture perfect. Somerset Doves were also here with two stunning doves ready for the newlyweds to realise. Photographer for the day was Lloyd Richards who did a amazing job capturing the day.
The wedding breakfast was later served in our Ivory Suite a breath taking room which host the most amazing lighting and really holds that ‘WOW’ factor. On the day the room was dressed with chair covers and dusky pink bows and looked fantastic.
With the arrival of more guests celebrations carried on long into the evening . The newlyweds had opted to hire our ‘Selfie Mirror’ which proved to be very popular. Our kitchen team served up a yummy buffet to all two hundred and twenty guest while we also had our chocolate fountain at the ready for the sweeter tooth. Guest also had great fun on a bucking bronco which was set up on the lawn and provided many laughs. The entertainment for the evening was DJ Gerry Rushton who did a great job keeping the dance floor full all evening. Overall a amazing day and night was had by all.
