On Saturday 8th June we had the pleasure of holding Mr & Mrs Jones perfect day here at Batch Country House.

The ceremony was held in our Somerset Suite the room dressed beautifully with a pink theme running throughout.  As two o’clock approached guest were seated ready for the brides arrival. The lovely Gemma Watkins from ‘The Wedding Pianist’ played  as Angela made her was down the aisle setting the most perfect atmosphere.

As the ceremony come to a end the newlyweds along with all sixty guest were greeting with a glass of bubbles and some nibbles as they gathered in our garden room where ‘The Wedding Pianist’ played throughout the afternoon.  Photographer for the day was Peter Nicholls  Photography who always do a  great job capturing the day.

On to the Ivory suite a lovely room which host a marquee feels with the most stunning lighting, it really does hold that wow factor. On the day the room was dressed in pink to follow suite with the rest of the day. As guest took their seats a three course meal was served consisting of Individual Beef Wellington- Prime Fillet of Beef surrounded by homemade meat pate and Puff Pastry  or Fillet of Salmon En Croute (Fillet of Salmon served with Hollandaise encased in Puff Pastry) followed by Caramelised Crème Brulée with Mixed Berries or Summer Pudding with Fruit Coulis finished with Coffee and mints.

After the meal guest were served a glass of Prosecco ready for the traditional speeches.

As evening arrived the party got into full swing with the arrival of more guest. DJ Gerry Rushton did a fanatics job as always. Our kitchen team served up a delicious Hog Roast along with all the trimmings, While Marc Lynham was on hand for the sweeter tooth with his Traditional Ice Cream  tricycle which certainly went down well with guests. Over all a fantastic time was had by all.
