A truly lovely day for the New Mr and Mrs Millar who married here at Batch Country House on Sunday 23rd June . The couple chose to say their vows in our Somerset Suite along with one hundred and ten close family and friends.
As the music started and the large oak doors opened the Bridesmaids made their way down the aisle followed by the Bride who looked beautiful.
Following the ceremony the Newly Weds and all their guests were greeted with a glass of Prosecco or a bottle of Peroni to enjoy while Simon & Kiana Photography took some amazing photos using our landscaped gardens. AW Inflatables arrived to set up a fabulous bouncy castle for all the little guests, and the big ones to enjoy.
Onto our Ivory suite and the room looked perfect. With a blue and yellow theme throughout, our candelabra centrepieces and white chair covers, the room was ready for the guests to enter. A delicious three course meal was prepared onsite by our Chefs and served by our waiting staff along with a glass of wine, coffee and mints followed by a glass of Prosecco for the traditional speeches. A special added extra during the speeches was the popping of balloons for a gender reveal which was a lovely and joyous moment for everyone.
Onto the evening and with more guests arriving DJ Gerry Rushton was all set up ready to entertain everyone. A traditional hog roast was then served to keep those tummies full. Use of our fun photo booth gave the guests many laughs during the evening.
A great day and evening had by all. Massive congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Millar from everyone at Batch.
