The New Mr and Mrs Potter married here at Batch Country House on Saturday 6th July with eighty four close family and friends. The couple chose to marry in our Somerset Suite which looked so pretty with white chairs and pink bows, petals and lanterns lining the aisle and some added touches around the fire place.
As the music started and the large oak doors opened the Bridesmaids started walking down the aisle followed by the Bride. It was very emotional as the song being played was a surprise for the Bride having been written, produced and sung by the groom. I dont think there was a dry eye in the room.
The couple said their vows and following the ceremony they were greeted to a glass of Processo and all their guests, before making their way outside. Photographers Shutter Bliss took full advantage of our beautiful grounds and the lovely weather and were able to take some amazing photos.
Our Ivory suite looked beautiful as did the tables. With white chair covers, pink bows, table mirrors and our lily centrepieces along with their own personal touches on the tables the room looked lovely. A balloon arch above the top table finished the room of nicely.
A delicious three course meal was prepared on site by our chefs and served by our waiting staff as well as wine throughout the meal, followed by coffee and mints before serving everyone a glass of Prosecco for the traditional speeches and toasts. After the speeches a pianist played providing the guests with some fantastic background music before the evening guests arrived.
Onto the evening where more friends arrived to help the Newly Weds celebrate. An amazing Hog Roast along with all the trimmings was served to keep everyone full. MC Entertainment was on hand to keep the dance floor busy, while our photobooth and chocolate fountain went down a treat with the guests.
A fabulous day and evening had by all. A huge congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Potter from everyone at Batch.
