A truly fantastic day for Jake and Giles who married here at Batch Country House on Saturday 28th September.
The couple said their vows to each other in our Somerset Suite with one hundred close friends and family to help them celebrate. Navy bows on the white chairs with dusky pink lining the aisle made the room look very special. Live pianist Gemma Watkins played music as both Grooms, who looked amazing in Top Hat and tails made their way down the lantern lit aisle lined with petals.
Following the ceremony the Newly Weds and all their guests were greeted with a cold glass of Prosecco or Peroni before making their way outside for photographs. The photographer was able to take some lovely pictures of the happy couple and their guests in our award winning gardens.
Onto the Ivory Suite and you could clearly see the extra personal touches added. The navy and pink theme continued throughout. Our candelabra centrepieces and a balloon arch above Top table made the room look stunning. Cutting of the cake was completed followed by the speeches and a toast before serving a delicious three course meal prepared by our onsite Chefs and served by our waiting staff. A glass of wine was served to the guests during the meal with the coffee and mints to finish off.
Onto the evening and with even more guests arriving to the help the Newlyweds celebrate MC Entertainment had the job of keeping everyone entertained and the dance floor full. A mouth watering Hog Roast was then served to keep those tummies full. Fun was had all round with the use of our photobooth during the evening.
A really wonderful day was had by all. A huge congratulations to the new Mr and Mr Domay-Hicks from everyone at Batch Country House.
